At RIDBC, our expert team delivers services designed to meet the individual needs of each child. From your first concerns about your child’s vision development to assisting your child to build literacy, mobility and independence in self-care, we support you every step of the way.

  • Early intervention programs

Our programs develop early exploration, movement, communication, social skills, concepts, literacy and numeracy, independence in self-care and offer early exposure to assistive technologies.

  • Vision assessments

We offer specialist vision and assistive technology assessments to determine the impact of your child’s vision impairment and provide strategies and access to technology to support learning.

  • Preschools

We provide an accessible preschool program for children with vision impairment, focusing on concept development, early numeracy and literacy, mobility, independence and exposure to assistive technology.

  • Schools

Our school support services help your child reach their potential, at RIDBC Alice Bettridge School or your local mainstream, independent school.

  • Allied health services

Our allied health professionals provide integrated, holistic care, giving you access to a range of therapy and health services that support you, your child and your family.

  • Accessible information services

Our accessible information service produces a range of material from early children’s books, exam papers, and assessments to restaurant menus for individuals, groups or organisations in formats that can be used by people who are blind or have low vision.
