Chris Rehn

Chris Rehn

CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Chris became RIDBC Chief Executive in 2010. Previously Chris was General Manager of SCIC Cochlear Implant Program, which merged with RIDBC in 2014. Chris’ early career was in health management within the public and private sectors. He is a Harvard Club Australia Non-Profit Fellow.

Shy Bastianpillai

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Shy joined RIDBC in 2016. She has a strong financial background and has held a number of senior financial management roles in multinational organisations that includes her most recent (10-year) stint with BAE systems. Prior to this, Shy has held a number of financial controller and financial management roles within a range of industries, having started her career with one of the big four professional service firms.

Robyn Bridgwood

EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Robyn joined RIDBC in August 2005 as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and was appointed to her current role of Executive Officer in July 2014. Robyn has significant experience providing high level support, guidance and administrative assistance to Chief Executives, Senior Leadership Teams, Board Members and Members of Special Committees.

Bart Cavalletto

DIRECTOR, SERVICES DELIVERY

Bart joined RIDBC in December 2013. Bart has significant experience in service delivery, planning and implementation. With over ten years’ experience in large government agencies, Bart has substantial knowledge of the workings of government, strategy and policy, including complex state-wide services and cochlear implant services.

Hockman Chang

DIRECTOR, TECHNOLOGY, OPERATIONS & PROPERTY  

Hockman joined RIDBC in July 2013. Hockman has a background in property, construction, operations, risk, and work, health and safety, with experience working in senior management roles for ASX top 50 multinational and international corporations in Australia. Hockman brings a depth of project and program management disciplines to RIDBC.

Greg Leigh

DIRECTOR, RIDBC RENWICK CENTRE

Greg joined RIDBC as Head of Renwick College in 1993, and was appointed Assistant Chief Executive (Educational Services) in 1999. In 2006, Greg was appointed to his current role, and assigned the responsibility of expanding and developing RIDBC’s research and professional development programs and facilities.

Nicole Smith

DIRECTOR, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

Nicole is an accomplished senior communications and marketing executive, with experience across a diverse industry portfolio, including not-for-profit, information technology, retail and sports. Nicole joined RIDBC in 2015, managing the organisation’s strategic and internal stakeholder communication. She took on the role of Interim Director, Marketing and Communications in 2019, where she leads RIDBC’s marketing, communications and brand function.

Melissa-Bergin

DIRECTOR, FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENT

Melissa joined RIDBC in 2017. She is a passionate people leader and creative change agent. Prior to stepping into the NFP sector, Melissa founded her own media and publishing company. In the NFP sector she has led the strategy and execution of projects, programs and campaigns to conserve wildlife and end world hunger. Melissa brings a wealth of leadership, fundraising, marketing, brand transformation, business development and event management experience to RIDBC.

Kyle Pearson

Kylie Pearson

DIRECTOR, PEOPLE & CULTURE

Kylie joined RIDBC in 2020. Kylie is a commercially focused HR professional with an extensive technical HRM depth spanning the full generalist remit and brings specialist experience in child safe organisations. She has worked across multiple industries, including Health and Children’s Services with large and complex workforces. She has driven change strategies and built progressive people functions to support organisations greatest asset – their people.
