Become a corporate partner

Australian companies are now realising that good corporate citizenship also makes good business sense.

73% of Australians say they would prefer to buy a product associated with a good cause, if its quality was the same. 49% said they would switch brands to do so. (The Common Good, State Chamber of Commerce)

Other benefits of being a good corporate citizen include:

  • Improved recruitment and retention
  • Increased staff morale
  • Creation of new business networks and contacts
  • Reduced exposure to risk.

Mutual benefit

RIDBC recognises that for a corporate partnership to work successfully, it has to be of benefit to both organisations. Some of our corporate partnership options include:

  • Corporate sponsorship - sponsoring one of our events, capital project or programs project can help enhance your reputation and contribute to the education of deaf or blind children.
  • Adopt us - adopt RIDBC as your company's charity of choice and involve your employees in the fun of fundraising.
  • Corporate donation - corporate donations are a tax-effective way of making a major contribution to RIDBC’s work.
  • Payroll giving – employees often appreciate the chance to make a difference through regular payroll giving, especially when their contributions are matched by their company.
  • Volunteering – contribute in a hands-on way, donating the time and skills of your employees either for specific projects, or even to help keep our grounds up to scratch for people with vision impairment.
  • Gifts in-kind – in-kind contributions of goods or services reduce RIDBC’s running costs, allowing us to plough more funding back into services for children.

To discuss a possible corporate contribution for your company, please contact RIDBC’s Community Relations and Fundraising Manager on (02) 9872 0333.
