One of Australia’s major charities, the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) is also Australia’s premier special educator. RIDBC’s primary purpose is to provide high quality educational services to children who have significant hearing and/or vision impairment, including children who have additional disabilities.
RIDBC conducts a centre for research and professional development in the education of children with impaired hearing or vision in affiliation with the University of Newcastle.
